I am going to start by sharing some of our current projects around the house.
A couple months ago, we painted the "office" and I made some valances for the windows. I also coverd a couple boxes and a cork board with the same fabric.
The other week, William and I found this awesome shelf made from two old side lights. He painted it to match the fabric I intend to use for the curtains in the living room - but that is a summer project for sure! I hate we didn't take a pic of it before he painted it but oh well.
Now for our MAJOR project (I really don't have any part of this though) is William's workshop that he is building behind our house. I had no clue this was going to be a "guest house" looking building, but it really does look good. He has just the back wall to put siding up on and then to pressure wash and paint it the same color as our house. William did everything all by himself except pour the concret footings and had a little help with the beams on the roof (there is some construction name for that but I have gone blank). I'm so impressed and proud of him, it totally blows my mind how he knows how to do this stuff!
I can't end my first family blog without putting a picture of Tucker on here. As most of you know he's a little OCD when it comes to tennis balls, so I felt this picture would show you what we see all day, everyday.
