James Island Camping Trip

Last Thursday, the three of us headed down to James Island for our first trip together since AR's arrival.  We got on the road a little later than intended and so we stopped for some Chick-fil-A on the way into the campground and then got the pop-up all set up.  I wish I'd taken a picture of how we had to set up the pack'n'play, but I didn't and I would have been embarrassed of the mess surrounding it anyways!  AR did very well in the camper and I can't wait to go again, just not in the cold though.
I bought this bug net a while back not sure if we'd really need it and it really came in handy.  Misquitos l-o-v-e AR and this helped keep them away!  It was kinda funny looking though.

We went to downtown Charleston on Friday and walked around, ate at Bubba Gump's and then swung on the dock for a bit.  We headed back to the campground around 3 or 4ish and William grilled us some hot dogs and we just hung out there for the rest of the evening.
Diaper changing can happen anywhere!

Saturday, we went and saw the Angel Oak which was HUGE, but really neat to see.  It's estimated to be between 300-400 years old!  We then headed out to Folly Beach and ate on the dock for lunch.  It was really cold out on the pier so we didn't stay for too long.  We drove around a bit and got back at about 5 and William got set up to watch the Clemson game on his computer.  We ate some spaghetti and watched the game.  What an A.W.E.S.O.M.E game, huh?!  Jennie, I know you disagree with this comment... sorry.  I'm loving tiger football this year.  Cool fact for you:  I had Coach Swinney's oldest child when I student taught and met both him and his wife.
Not quite awake Saturday morning, but in her Clemson sleeper!

Ready to cheer the Tigers on!!  One lady told her friend to "look at this diva!"  haha!
Daddy and AR waiting for the game to start!
On Sunday we got up and loaded everything and "unpopped" the pop-up and headed back home.  On the way home we stopped by Mimi and Papa's house for a late and yummy lunch.
Daddy getting us all ready to leave... forgot to take a pic of it all set up!
Waiting to head home!

Who'd have thought I'd enjoy camping so much?!
