Some Pics from Daddy's Phone

Most of the following are off Daddy's phone:

A few weeks ago, W was feeling awful and acting in a way I'd never seen him.  He had a fever, was moaning, and was just plain miserable.  Of course this was a Saturday, so I called the on-call nurse.  I told her all the symptoms and she could hear him crying and all in the background so she suggested we go on to the ER.  Can we just say it was awful!!  By the time we got there, the tylenol seemed to be taking some effect and then they gave him motrin too.  So 4 hours later when the doc showed up, he was sooo much better.  He just had a rough cold/cough that ended up costing us a pretty penny.  While it makes me sick to think of the cost, I just wanted my baby to feel better and be back to himself at the time.  Oh well... I told him that was his one allotted ER trip!!

AR was such a trooper waiting with us for baby W to be seen!

Our Smiley Boy (and more!)

So my mama was saying how our last two posts had pics of W but he wasn't smiling... if you know him, then you know this isn't normal!  We needed to fix this!!  This boy is happy, happy, happy and makes us all smile.  Well, these teeth have not made us smile but he's still giving out some loving!  So most of these pics just happen to be of W, not on purpose though!

This is from our snow days when we blew up the air mattress and had Aunt Katie over!

AR told me the first time I put W in a hat facing forward that he looks like Uncle Clint and sometimes she says he looks like daddy since they both wear their hats this way.  If it's on backwards, she says, "W, you look like Uncle Andrew!"

I had to share this b/c it cracked me up.  Apparently, this was the only way that AR could get her baby to stay sitting in her booster seat... No worries though, we don't strap her in this way!!

Most of you know that AR has "Me time" most everyday and eventually I want both to have it as well as time together... so we have started "we time".  It doesn't last long and I check about every 2-3 minutes on them, but it has helped me out!  I pray that these two (and any others we may be blessed with) grow up to be best friends.

This is how we "confine" them to the living room while keeping W away from the fireplace!

Somebody discovered the VCR and yes, we still have one!
Below is AR 2 years ago!

My three triplets!  I wish William's face was facing forward more b/c they all have very similar profiles in my opinion, but especially W and AR!

Snow Days

Last week we got lots of snow... at least for us!  Aunt Katie came up and stayed 2 nights with us and we had lots of fun with her AND daddy here with us during the days!  AR went sledding for the first time and daddy being a male and all, took off a little too fast, flipping her completely over.  It took a while to coax her into going again but by day 2 she was much more of a fan.
The beginnings

As you can see, AR still wasn't completely recovered at this point!!

Snow days aren't complete without a little snow cream!!

Florida and Daddy/Dughter Date Night

A couple weeks ago, William and I went on a trip to Boca Raton, Fl for a conference for his work.  We stayed the first night in St. Augustine and were going to spend the next day touring the city but it was cold and rainy so we took a short trolley ride.  Below is a picture of the hotel we stayed at... just another typical hotel stay for the Trammells!  Side note:  When you have to google how much to tip a valet or bag boy (if that's what you even call them), then you know you are out of your social class!

We arrived in Boca Raton and had a pleasant few days there... 80+ degrees, sunny, and sporting our flip flops!  It was such a nice break... nobody to prepare food for, nobody to wake me up early, and nobody needing assistance wiping their bottom for 5 days!!!  Thank you , thank you, thank you Mimi & Papa and Lovey & Grand Daddy for keeping our (sick) babes for us!

At the resort was the restaurant, Serendipity, like in NY... I had always heard about frozen hot chocolates but never tasted one.  If you are in that same position, let me tell you, you need to fix it now!  It was amazing!!  Seeing as I didn't know what one even looked like, I ordered it thinking it would be small and William ordered a sundae... let's just say, we looked like pigs!  It was a bit embarrassing and I hope you don't think we ate it all... b/c we didn't!

I have a few more pictures from Vday that I didn't get to share yet!  Daddy and AR went to CFA for Daddy/Daughter Date night and it was the cutest thing ever!  She got to get dressed up and then at CFA they had table cloths, waiters in bow ties, menus, a violinist, and more!  AR has such a great daddy who has been waiting to take her on one of these dates!  I am looking forward to W being old enough to go on mama/son dates!

You know you are really enjoying your food when you have to close your eyes to relish in every bite!!
