2 Months and Heather's Shower

Abby Ruth was officially 2 months old not yesterday, but the Monday before... but her 2 months appt. was this past Friday.  Can we just say that this gal is one healthy chick!  She was 12 lbs and 11 oz (89%tile), 24.3 inches (97%) and her head fell into the 94%!  She's def. bigger than most 2 month olds, but that just means more cuteness!

This past weekend I also helped host a shower for my friend Heather... the shower had a slumber party theme so we ate lots of pizza, soda, and ice cream and played some fun games.  We had a good time and now we are looking forward to the wedding!

Father's Day and Birthday

We celebrated both William's first Father's Day and his birthday over the past two days.  Since the two fell only a day apart, I decided to combine his presents and gave them to him on Sunday.  Most were camping related, with a few random gifts too.  We also gave him a couple framed pics of Abby Ruth for him to take to work.

William's Father Day/Birthday goodies

As I was walking by I noticed this... William had no clue until I started laughing!

Abby Ruth and I love celebrating such a wonderful husband and daddy!  We are so blessed to have William in our lives!

We also celebrated Abby Ruth's 2 month birthday yesterday as well! 

2 Months old in a 3m outfit... but it still has a good bit of room to grow!

Life at 7 & 8 Weeks

Abby Ruth is really growing and starting to show more and more of her little personality!  She is smiling more and more and actually with you, not just randomly.  She's really getting the hang of holding her head up and loves to be sitting up and looking around.
